The English Disc Golf Association

The national body for the growing sport of Disc Golf in England.

EDGA logo The English Disc Golf Association (EDGA) was established over twenty years ago by its members, initially as the BDGA. Our foundation was built on a few core principles that continue to guide us today:
  • Championing English Disc Golfers: We look after your interests and foster a thriving community.
  • Promoting the Sport: We raise awareness and recognition of disc golf as a legitimate and exciting sport.
  • Driving Growth: We encourage and help facilitate the expansion of disc golf throughout England.
  • Cultivating Competition: We support and organise local, regional, and national competitions for all skill levels.
  • Facilitating Connection: We provide a forum for discussion and a hub for collecting and sharing information on all aspects of disc golf.
  • National Guidance: As the national body for disc golf in England, we're here to provide advice and support to anyone looking to start a club or establish a course in their local area.
We remain committed to these principles because we believe in the power of disc golf. It's one of the fastest-growing sports globally, and for excellent reasons! Disc golf is designed for everyone, regardless of age, gender identity, or economic status, making it a fantastic lifetime fitness activity. Its ease of learning ensures no one is excluded; players can simply match their pace to their capabilities and enjoy the game at their own level.
