The English Disc Golf Association

The national body for the growing sport of Disc Golf in England.

EDGA logo The English Disc Golf Association (EDGA) was established originally as the BDGA, a non-profit organisation over twenty years ago by its members with just a few core principles:
  • Look after the interests of disc golfers in England.
  • Promote awareness and recognition of disc golf as a sport.
  • Encourage the growth of disc golf in England
  • Foster local, regional and national competition for all members.
  • Provide a forum for discussion of all aspects of disc golf.
  • Provide a means of collection and publication of information.
We remain committed to these principles today. Disc golf is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and for good reason. Disc golf is designed to be enjoyed by people of all ages, gender identity, and economic status, making it a great lifetime fitness activity. Because disc golf is so easy to learn, no one is excluded; players merely match their pace to their capabilities and proceed from there.
