Our mission at the EDGA is simple: to grow participation in disc golf across England. From casual throws in the park to competitive tournaments, we’re here to support and promote the sport for everyone.
The EDGA is a community-driven organisation, run by players for players. Our dedicated team of passionate volunteers works tirelessly to progress disc golf throughout the country. We believe in the power of this sport to connect people, promote activity, and offer exciting challenges for all skill levels.
Join Our Team: Volunteer Opportunities at the EDGA. The EDGA thrives on the passion and dedication of its volunteers. We’re always looking for individuals to help us achieve our mission. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, makes a real difference to the disc golf community in England.
We currently have a few exciting opportunities to get involved:
EDGA Board Secretary: This vital role involves attending monthly board meetings, organising and minuting bi-weekly sessions, and helping guide the EDGA’s direction. It’s a fantastic chance to contribute directly to the growth and smooth running of disc golf in England, enhancing your organisational and communication skills.
EDGA Equality and Diversity Officer: Are you passionate about making disc golf a truly inclusive and welcoming sport for everyone? This role involves attending board meetings, recommending ways to make EDGA activities more welcoming to marginalised groups, and collaborating with key directors to ensure inclusivity in tournaments and communications. Be a champion for positive change!
